possible to download intraday data, only "intraday snapshot data" without
historical intraday data.

What
does "intraday snapshot data" mean?
Snapshots are taken
at a given point of time. To update snapshot data, you have to
define a time interval to ask the data source for the latest quotes. On
the other hand, streaming quotes is the technology where data source notifies
the recipient when new ticks appear. Intraday bars are build-up from
individual trade ticks streaming to the recipient.
Quotes4u treats "intraday snapshot data" an
end-of-day data, it will overwrite the last quote of the
same day.

had to reinstall Quotes4u and now it says I'm an unregistered user. What
can I do to register my new copy?
After
reinstalling Quotes4u, you can find the new serial number by choosing
Help > About.
In the splash screen your new serial number is shown in the left upper
corner. Now choose for Registration > Customer Support in the application
or choose Customer Support on our homepage. Then login with you License No.
and manage your personal settings.

When
I run the Quotes4u setup program I get the following message:
Setup cannot continue because
some system files are out of date on your system. Click OK if you would like
setup to update these files for you now. You will need to restart windows
before you can run setup again. Click cancel to exit setup without updating
system files.
After I click "OK" and update the system files and reboot,
I still get the same error message. How do I get Quotes4u setup
to work?
If Quotes4u setup does not work on your computer
it usually means there is something wrong with your computer system.
There are 3 known system problems that may cause this error.
1) You didn't close all programs running in the background. Shut them all down
and try to install again. This will solve the problem in 90% of the cases.
2) The computers temporary directory is not on the system drive.
3) There is more than one version of MSVBVM60.DLL on your computer.
To check for condition (2) run the SET command from a command prompt dialog.
This will list the setting of all environment variables on your computer
including the TEMP variable. TEMP must point to a directory on the same
drive that Windows
is installed on. Instructions for correcting this setting can be found
in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
To check for condition (3) right click My Computer on your desktop and select
Find. Then search you computer for MSVBVM60.DLL. There should only be one copy
of this DLL on your computer. On Windows 95/98 it should be in the Windows\System
folder. On NT/2000 it should be in the WINNT\System32 folder. Delete any other
copies of MSVBVM60.DLL.
